A large suspended, downward facing light box hovers over a wooden platform, creating a third step, composed of the wooden lightbox and a light filled gap beneath. Together they measure the same height as the riser of the step below.

The proportions summon attention to the surrounding architectural features of similar proportions, and at the same time call their solidity into doubt. The title is

intended to have both literal (architectural) and metaphorical references. Room sheet
