Stencilled text in poster box and on glass doorways of Articulate project space greets dense passing traffic.

 

The text in the poster box changed daily, and each day the text from the day before was transferred from poster box to the door until it accumulated, forming a sentence reading: ‘Life is …a one way ticket- with many highways -and byways- It may be short- it may be long- You may be lucky- Scratch it and see’.

Using the materials of road signage, I draw attention to like signage in the surrounding area. At peak hour, traffic banked up outside the building, giving commuters a chance to muse over the evolving sentence and guess what might be coming next.
