Laneway off 317 Church St, Parramatta

Commissioned by Parrammatta City Council.

A sculptural element at either end of a 30m long lane- a chimney flue and an air conditioning vent in frosted Perspex, mimicked the plethora of chimney flues and aircon vents at the back of the adjoining restaurants.

Lit internally, they act as markers for the beginning and end of the lane. Collaborated with Lighting designer, Susan Lambert; a builder;  and a plastic fabricator(Photo Peter Murphy)
